Oct 3rd Fall Festival Meet -ENTRIES DUE 9/23
NOTE** This is a Fall League Meet. TJCC is one of a select number of teams in Arizona who will be participating in this Az Fall League series. There are a total of 3 regular meets and one championship (Oct 3 in Mesa; Oct 9 in Tucson; Oct 25 in Tucson; Champs on Nov 7&8).
When: Saturday Oct 3rd
Where: Mesa Arizona (host DTAC)
Who: All Stingray Swimmers regardless of experience.
This meet is a “NTS meet”- meaning Non-Time Standard- all swimmers can swim regardless of experience.
The Fall League is different than normal invitational USA meets (i.e. Season Opener). It is a Team Oriented meet with emphasis on TEAM points……. There are two sessions each Meet (B & A). Each team is limited in the number of entries they can enter for each session (2 max/event for session A; 4 scoring swimmers/event for session B- additional swimmers can enter B session events as exhibition). All times count toward individual time achievement (except 2/3/4 relays legs).
SOOO… this means …..
1. You need to respond to this email with “requested” individual swims…
2. Coaches will do thier best to put swimmer(s) in “requested” events, however this is a team point scoring meet, so swimmers will be placed in the best possible event(s) to optimize our team point totals. No swimmer will be placed in any event they are unable to swim! (this is when you need to “trust” your coach!).
More Information:
“B” Session- will begin warm ups at 10:00 am and end around 1:15 pm. This is basically for 10& U swimmers and older swimmers who have not achieved a state qualifying time.
“A” Session will begin warm ups in diving tank during the B session. Session A will not begin prior to 1:15 pm and end around 4:00 pm “A” session is for 11 & Older swimmers who have achieved a state qualifying time before.
Swimmers are limited to 3 individual events and 1 relay for the meet. Swimmers can NOT swim in both sessions- only B or A. Sessions will be scored separately.
