We seek to expand our membership in order to share our sport with as many other people as possible. We are especially committed to sharing the values of our sport with young people who may discover that swimming is an activity they can enjoy for their entire life.

Facility
The Tucson JCC is one of the finest athletic facilities in Southern Arizona. The heated 25 yard by 8 lane pool is just the beginning. The pool is surrounded by a large deck which borders well-kept grassy areas and a playground. The swim team makes use of a large gymnasium with basketball courts, two softball diamonds, and soccer fields. In addition, swimmers have access to a large, fully-equipped, weight-room and PACE exercise facility for advanced dry-land training. The Tucson JCC invites everyone from the community to join the Stingray swim team and offers discounts on swim fees to TJCC members.

Location
The Tucson JCC is conveniently located at the corner of River Road and Dodge Road in north central Tucson. The TJCC can be reached by traveling one mile north on Dodge Road from Fort Lowell Avenue, or driving on River Road from Campbell Avenue on the west side, or from Swan Road on the east side.
Scholarships
The Stingray Fundraising Account will provide a scholarship to be used ONLY for swim team Session Training Fees for a swimmer/family who meets the criteria for a Tucson JCC scholarship. The swimmer/family may also be eligible for a reduced Tucson JCC membership fee based on the same financial need criteria.
The Stingray Scholarship guidelines are as follows: $50.00/swimmer per session, $100.00 per family per session, $500.00 maximum available for funding per session.
Please make your request to Coach Amy Behm and/or to Denise Blumenthal, COO of the Tucson JCC. You will be given a copy of the complete Stingray Scholarship Guidelines upon applying for a scholarship.
